Well...I got nothing to say in this blog....Nicht Besonderes!

Past six months I've been learning German...Ich lerne Deutsch! Firstly I thought I should continue learning Japanese...but I figured out its very hard to learn any new language by myself. Also in my wish list I had learning German written before mastering Hindi, learning Japanese, learning Chinese and learning to play Guitar, Piano....so on!

Hmmm...

Today marks the release of my two favorite things...
Mozilla firefox 3

mozilla

Coldplay's new album viva la vida death and all his friends

Wiki Coldplay

I was dormant for a long time....I think I should start blogging more... may be I should write some blogs in German too, to practice my German writing skills :P

Murphy's law

The following are few Murphy's law that I came across and was interesting...

Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.

Rule of Accuracy: When working toward the solution of a problem, it always helps if you know the answer.

Nothing is as easy as it looks.

Everything takes longer than you think.

Everything takes longer than it takes.

A falling object will always land where it can do the most damage.

A shatterproof object will always fall on the only surface hard enough to crack or break it.

Remember the "Boomer-rang" effect; Whatever you do will always come back.

Any instrument when dropped will roll into the least accessible corner.

Any simple theory will be worded in the most complicated way.

For any given software, the moment you manage to master it, a new version of that software appears.

The chance a copy machine will brake down is proportional to the importance of the material that needs to be copied and inversely proportional to the amount of time till the material will be needed.

Contribute what you know or you have come across as comment..

You are beautiful......

Bonjour welcome back to my blog, its been more than a month I guess...Hmmm... Where to start, how to end this blog that was a big question I was having in my head, Got it...Here we go! Lemme start with something interesting, I was reading online forum, there an Indian residing in Illinois has posted asking how to make free calls to India, I guess he posted around 10:00am on a sunday morning, just after that around 10:15 am around 10 members pulled his leg by replying him to call 1-800-Microsoft, 1-800-dell-now, 1-800-ibm-now, 1-800-earth-link and much more! An interesting trivia I came across online "“New York City has 722 miles of subway track"”, theres even a book called "722 Miles : The Building of the Subways and How They Transformed New York" by Clifton Hood.

Well last month was a very remarkable mouth for me because i bought a new 5th Generation apple ipod! Oh boy! oh boy! She is so cute in my hands :D....

Well then spring is here. Myself and few of my buddies at San Jose, went on a vacation to San Francisco.. SFO was very lively, beautiful, busy city, roads were so crooked and steepy. Hmmm people who have already been there and people who live there wont be interested in these...well I could even be wrong!

She was sitting opposite to me at the library, was very cute, in her short-creamy-white shirt, and deep blue jeans and her hair fell like a golden cascade over her shoulders, with beautiful and sparking diamond earrings (probably a Tiffany & Co), after i saw her and her graceful eyes, bent down and fixed my head into my laptop, after a while when i raised my head i couldn't see her ever again! Well this happened around a fortnight ago...i was surprised to believe it....because this incident was quite analogous to the chartbusting song "your beautiful"” by James Blunt...this song ends with the line... "But its time to face the truth...ill never be with you..."

Internet Jargons: WWW - World Wide Web, CWW - China Wide Web?

Well in few decades (well may be 2 to 3 years) from now our Internet will face major changes........” this is my main article of todays blog. here I am at my University's student union building laid back on a couch, listening to the spectacularly soothing musical tunes of Titanic, James Blunt, Coldplay, Richard Marx, Train, Mozart, etc.....played by one of my university student in the piano....This University really Rocks! I love SJSU! @>>-

Ok recently i read an article that Chinese Government has imposed many censorship and ban on the Internet and telecommunication usage. This means that there is A Great Firewall Of China that will serve as a barrier to all the people in China as well as the people outside China. What on earth it is! The Internet is supposed to be an ideology that augments the freedom of expressions. There are more that 110 million Internet users in china, in few years from row they will be termed as intranet users of the China! Is that gonna happen? Hey that really suck!

And I was appalled to know that Google, Yahoo, Microsoft are willing to complie with Chinese demand and will sign a Chinese lisence soon, that means these Capitalists would take a Communist Avatar when it comes to money, so sad....what these capitalist did last week in the hearings that took place at the Capitol according to me was all a makeover!

I read in the San Jose Mercury newspaper that doctoral students in China find it very hard to search research materials, and other informations regarding research. Also the Mercury news goes further by saying that the Chinese government is filtering the Chinese user from accessing the Religious contents, CIA, Pentagon, BBC news, CNN and even few pages of Wikipedia....On contrary the Chinese Government claims that these blockage is to prevent the public from getting exposed to the harmful, and immoral content in the Internet. They run the real tyranny on this planet...

Well is this only happening in the People's republic of China or will happen anywhere else too? Well according to me this will spread like a viral fever that in few years not only communist governments but also the democratic nations, kingdoms will impose a great firewall in their country, telling the public that they are protecting the national, and public, and the poor souls of any nation have to follow what the leaders say! One fine morning every one will be having their own handhelds, laptops, macs, ibms, broadband, WiMax, Da Da...blah Blahs but on the other hand they will be resisted from the flow of thoughts and informations.......

Think twice or even four times.......

hello once again

here we are in my next blogging episode.... I hope last week was good for everyone. Last week it was too good for people who were at the Staples Arena, LA for their Grammies, LA has proved it again, that they are the richest and showing-off people in the whole planet, that they can throw party that no one can think off! This Grammy according to me the decisions were good as well as bad. The pros of this year's awards were giving awards to John Legend for the New Artist, Kanye West(Remember him during Katrina saying boldly in the media that "GWB doesn't care about the Black people!") for the best rap, and bestowing the Green day, the U2 Record of the year and Album of the year respectively. Well the other awards were as usual given to the people who created a big buzz the whole year. I was wondering Mariah Carey sang "“we belong together"” this year to clarify that all her 15 to 20 producers, 2 to 3 song writers, 10 or more media people aided her to fetch Grammy and not because of her own effort! Like the Guns n Roses, or Rolling Stones, or artists of 80s and 90s used to do!

Ok enough of the Grammies, ill turn your attention to the growing madness towards an online business that is creating an useless tide in the usa, also in the Indian community in the United States(especially in New Jersey, Michigan, and offcourse California). Let me present it to you animatedly....Sheraton Hotels, South San Jose, Its around half past eight on a Friday evening I was invited there by my friend, I was appalled by the huge crowd of people who were attending that eagerly like a teenager on a rock concert at the Madison Square! I was invited there telling me that "its a life time opportunity, an online business that will fetch me more than six figures every year" Initially I was not sure what he was speaking to me about, to satiate my curiosity i decided to attend that conference , Since i went quite late to that conference(hey according to me it was a carefully choreographed aria! Not a conference) i found people shouting some nonsense and waving their hand! I was shocked during the whole event, while returning home i thinking "how easy is it to persuade a person's human brain by just using the money as the reason! I dont want to mention that company's name on my blog,(clue: Starts with Q” :) but i would like to mention what exactly it is, there is a good word in English called "“Scam" that describes it very well!! Intially a person is persuaded, invited to the conference(by their talented hard talks), then at the initial conferences the invited person is then introduced to the fellas who flash their diamond studded Watch and talking all about their Cadillac and Private Ranch!, who will also claim that they minted money through this business!(Another Lie). Well who are these guys what are they doing to become filthy rich? Well i got the answer after i searched online about this after that night of the conference, well i wish to thank my mind, for not taking any hasty decisions! And thanks to a student at SJSU who gave me link online

People i apologize for not posting about VTA, would be posted in my next blog, till then take care....

February 09 2006, San Jose, CA

Its two to five AM, I jumped outta my bed very early....... to be more clear! I didn't get sleep the whole night, I was reading a mag, and was playing chess in my PC, then over the bed I was thinking many things that happened very recently in the world and in my world!.....

10k mark! 10k mark! Buzz was all over the Dalal street, (a common slang for the Bombay Stock Exchange), I came across this buzz and this bullish excitement roar through the Google News and also though my good friends blogs, I am writing about this 10k stuff today to say that the Bombay stocks exchange's Index was elevated to 10k not because of the so called IT industry that occupies almost 25% of stock value! But only because the Banking industry, pharma, petro products industry. I would like to appreciate one of my good friend in NYC who told me before while traveling on the subway train,(I still remember that A train to Manhattan! From 80St Hudson St Station :) (in his own words) "“your IT can't bring food or water to the plates, it is just a supporting industry”". k our BSE has reached its zenith of 10K, so whats next..Letsts wait and witness :)

The day before yesterday I attended a workshop organized by my school presented by the Cisco group, which is the numero uno in the field of Networking, and related business, In that presentation i had an opportunity i learnt the growing an the good opportunities at the Cisco Inc. After that i went to my school's career center to get my resume critiqued, that time I grabbed myself a copy of the January's issue of the Networkworld magazine. When i went through the magazine i found that Cisco system has acquired the famous Scientific-Atlanta Corp., this is one their major acquisitions after buying the Linksy, i guess many people know about the Linksys, its one of the majors in producing Home networking devices like the wireless routers, STBs, etc...

Also i read an interesting article about the latest Anti-Google. Corporates, the government, even many Netizens too, are feared over this massive search tool that is available on the net. The Countries that blew the whistle are India(the Google Earth Episode - remember), China, France(which wants its home companies like Thompson, Alcatel to develop its own search tool), Even the White House has warned the Big Search engine at the Mountain View, CA to hide few sensitive government, identity informations from the net users. This is also much spoken even in my school's Computer Science Department where the professors are asking the grad students to come up with a ideas to create a search robot that has artificial intelligence and generic algorithm that can be trained to predict what the user wants to be search (nowadays its simply said Googled!!) online. Well thats all folks!!

In my next blog i would like to write about the VTA also called as the Valley-Area Transport Authority that serves the commuters of the Californian South Bay Area, and about a growing madness over an Online Business that is absolutely a scam!!

take care

Hi everyone out there

hope you all are doing great! Since this is my first blog in this site i would like to start with saying few thing about myself, I am sometimes considered by others to be a shy kind of person(well few would disagree on that!) Right now am living in a nation which “Sometimes(even mistakenly) referred as the land of free”. Basically I am(and always) an Indian. Hey that doesn't mean that i hate the United States!. Born in a small town in South India, was brought up in one of the best metropolis in India, flew all the way to the BiG Apple for my masters degree(with few trivial controversies back home – I guess Some readers knew this!!), Even though I LOVE NY, I transfered from the Big Apple to the Silicon Valley for many reasons. Reading some fictions books, very few non-fictions, web surfing and above all sleeping and eating(i would say am a good gourmet, even though am a veggie) are few of my hobbies, When i was younger(but hey.. am still young :) i used to collect coins and stamps too, I had a huge collection of common-wealth nation's collectibles....thanks to my uncle in London, but when the days went by i sold my stamps, lost few of the collections and also I lost the zeal towards it!!(Stamps are for envelopes, and coins are for transactions!! why should one hoard them!! :D) .......There are many interesting things and other informations to share in the future blogs.blogs...So i finish this first blog right here, Also i would appreciate my buddies (even my foes!!) to stop by and read my blogs, if time permits you gimme good comments and discussions of the blogs......

Hav a gr8 day! - Au revoir!
